Welcome to my web site. I have been dealing in antiques for over thirty years, firstly from my shop in Pershore, Worcestershire, and for many years from London's Portobello Road. I am now based at Tudor House Antiques Centre in Stow-on-the-Wold in the English Cotswolds. My specialities include antique needlework tools, especially thimbles, fashion accessories, and interesting collectables including Tartan and Mauchline ware. Prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) denoted by the symbol £. Packing and carriage can be quoted additionally. This web site shows a number of artefacts made from or incorporating ivory. Please be aware that under pending new legislation (the Ivory Bill) the sale of such items will become illegal at which point I will withdraw them from sale. The proposed ban on the sale of ivory is based on emotion and is sadly misguided. It will do nothing to prevent the poaching of elephants and the illegal export of ivory, mainly to China.
